The Storm is over. The storm was inside of me. It houtght...I was gonna lose my mind. I didn't. I survived. I made it across a turbulent journey. A hell of emotions. Ridden with fear and anguish. The pain. what seemed unbearable. I took it. I took it. Leaning on JESUS as my crutch. I did not fake it. I made it. I took the pain. I killed my enemy with THE WORD OF GOD. Not by power, nor by might, but by HIS SPIRIT. I survived the storm. Now I must recover. I must recover quickly because the rainbow has appeared. I am walking NOW in my the promise from MY SAVIOR. I survived the storm. I did not lose my mind. I did not lose anything. I gained a relationship with JESUS. A testimony to share the Lord's goodness and mercy. I survived. I survived. I survived the STORM!

I may not know YOUR WILL...

Is it possible God, that I may be wrong. You may not have spoken that. It may have been my flesh, my own selfish desires. A false imagination, a delusion of my thoughts, a mixed message. Lord teach me to discern what is right for me. Lord give me the will to accept your WISDOM even when I don't understand its purpose. Lord give me guidance during those hard trials that I may reach that place that you have pre-ordained for me. Lord I know...I don't know. I don't know that those people aren't good for me...they don't have my best interest @ heart. They only want what I can offer. Lord help me to see the good in others, but also to see the wicked schemes of the enemy. A dressed up demon. Lord, it may just be that I don't know what I want. Lord you know what I need. Give me what I need. Ignore my cries to feed my flesh. And...give me what I need. Because it just may be that I may not know YOUR WILL...

Embracing Strength

Strength is not needed.. until its needed.
It is the power needed to do something beyond your natural capacity.
It must be tapped into. It does not come without its presence being invited.
It awaits your provocation. It is always available.
It can do the impossible. It can accept the unbearable. It can reach places that are beyond stretching to receive. Strength makes faith work. It creates miracles. It touches in areas that are deeply rooted. Strength is excavated by praise. It is induced by prayer. It appears when the name of Jesus is called upon. Strength comes through knowing that the Lord is your stronghold, a very present help indeed!!!

Embrace Strength.....He is wants to help you reach that place of deliverance.

Confidence takes courage.
It takes courage to be what GOD has called one to be.
Courage does not eradicate fear. It stands in the face of fear.
Courage is a learned behavior that is developed by persistent and consistent practice.
Courage is a positive stronghold or mindset.
Those without it can mistake it in others as pride, aggression, or arrogance.
It comes from God.
It is depending on Jesus for the outcome of adversarial situations.
In order to walk in it-takes faith.
Faith to accept yur inner being-your personal spirit-which the world calls the personality.
Having confidence does not come without a price.
Others may hate you for having it, despising the Spirit of God in you.
Confidence is excellence of heart.
Confidence shares space with peace with one's own self.
It is actually humbleness of mind and spirit.
I dare you to trust in what God made- A CONFIDENT PERSON.

I AM HEALED

He was wounded for my transgressions, the chastisement of his peace is upon me and by His stripes I am healed. God's Word has already declared His will for my healing. He already said I am healed.
I have been wounded, yes. I felt like I couldn't make it. I felt like throwing in the towel. It seemed like there was no hope on yesterday. But I stayed there. I prayed there. Where is there? There is a place of destitute thinking; clouded judgment; an aching heart. Lord, you heard me. I know you did. Otherwise I wouldn't be here today. i have joy today because I made it despite the lies that the enemy told me. The enemy told me things wouldn't work out, but I stayed there and it did. Oh, Lord I thank you for your faithful Word. When all else fell. I stood on the Word..."I was wounded for your transgressions, the chastisement of your peace is upon me and by MY STRIPES YOU ARE HEALED. I am healed! I am healed! I am healed! In Jesus Name I am healed!

We hear the word Destiny so much. It almost sounds like broken record. Have we really caught the revelation of what this means. I have one. I don't believe God intended it to be an ending as some would say. The end of the script. I believe it is whatever our daily purpose is. Purpose. Purpose. That is a better word. Your destiny today. What was it? Was it to suffer through persecution. That someone would come to know the character of Christ that is reflecting through you. Or could it be the loss of a job, that the Lord may use your testimony of restoration to a better job so that someone may have hope. Could it be your destiny to struggle financially so that God can later establish wealth in your life and create blessings for others. In other words your destiny may not be what you think it is, but the process by which you gain many victories. Destiny! Destiny! What is your destiny?

Find Your Self!

Have you ever wondered why you keep getting the same results over and over again. Could it be that you have not searched "within" for the answer. Sometimes we look for solutions for our problems in other things , but in the deepness of our being lies strength, insight, and the momentum needed to change. Love for self is an art, a developed discipline, which must be cultivated by continuous self-reflection after our mistakes. We must learn to abide with self, which means to always stay with our uniqueness. Find yourself when things aren't clear, and people can't help you and everything seems to be spiraling out of control. Look within, search, go deep, it may hurt for a little while , but when you find your self, it is then that your life will begin to change.

Pain, Sorrow, Old scars, New behaviors. Dwelve into self and capture the essence of your being by embracing what's there. Some have lies hidden in a deep seat. Some have fear covering one's thoughts. And others carry gredd, lust, and jealousy. Whatever it may be. God always gives the opportunity to repent and begin anew. We have to commit ourself to change on a daily basis or we will not reach our goals or purpose. We have to remember that we are "Not Perfect, But
Chosen", but we must strive to be made more like our Savior Jesus Christ.

The Dream Killer

So many of our youth have been tricked by the enemy to believe that marijuana is harmless; "the drug that should be legalized". It has been argued that it helps with pain, there is no physical harm etc. etc. But I beg to differ with its harmful effects. So many people with potential have forfeited their dreams to this drug. It consumes their life to such an extent where they are unable to think about anything else. It takes away motivation, the memory is depleted, and the capacity to learn is inhibited every time they smoke. They become useless to themsleves and others... just a sort of blur in life. Life is meant to be lived with purpose, not just with mediocracy of barely getting by. Matter of fact God hates stupidity; He speaks of the importance of Wisdom all throughout His Word. Marijuana cannot give Wisdom because it suppresses the intellect in that people cannot act on the knowledge acquired in the brain because marijuana "sits on it". Dreams are visions of the mind that can be acted out in real life to fulfill great purposes in one's life. Youths are being hindered from reaching their destiny by trying to fit in; believing a lie, chasing after a god of sensuality that cannot produce what it promises. Marijuana is a DREAM KILLER; a stagnating substance, a "puffed" up lie. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up from a state of falsehood; the enemy should not be trusted; he (marijuana) comes to STEAL, DESTROY, AND KILL YOUR DREAMS!!!!

Never be afraid....

Never be afraid to do what God has ordained you to do. If He has called you to speak a Word in due season..Speak that Word with Conviction guided by the Sprit of Love.
Never be afraid to raise the bar above what everybody else is doing because it is that standard that will sept you apart for the Master's use. Never be afraid to try ideas and create things that God gave you in your time of meditation to His Word. Never be afraid to believe for a good report because God says as a man thinketh so is He. Never be afraid to execute righteouness and judgment in the earth. Never be afraid of others opinion because it is God whom you are called to please and to administer His law. Never be afraid to be who you are because you were created with a specific purpose and for specific people. Never be afraid to reach a place of peace and prosperity because God says "He wishes above ALL things that you prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. Never be afraid of not being able to do what God has called you to do because He that has begun a good work in you shall complete it until the end. Never be afraid to love because love covers a multitude of sins. And it is our first commandment that we love the Lord with all our heart soul and mind. Never be afraid to pray about those things we see as hinderances in the bdoy of Christ because true intercession is needed by those who have a true heart for the holiness in his kingdom and can see the devil a mile away. Never be afraid because we are called to live by our faith and not by what we see.

I sit, I listen, I watch people. wondering if they really know the power of God. God is not an entertainer. He is not a magician. He is God. He is the power unto salvation. He waits for us to tap into His energy. He wants us to pro9ve Him @ His Word.
The God in me says. Lord, help me to find Your Wisdom to complete all assignments and to live a fulfilling life. Lord, help me to sustain joy everyday for this is the meaning of life. Help me to know when to give up and when to hold on according to your purpose. Lord, I don't know but the God in me sees no limitations in you...the God in me sees deeply in the unbelief of others...we say we believe you in the emotions of the moment, but where is the power to act on our beliefs. Lord, the God in me wants others to see that we must inch our way to our destiny by a conscious effort and dependence on you. You are not just a good feeling..like a drug..but you are MORE THAN LIFE. You are so amazing and sweet and You want the best for me. Oh Lord the God in me knows there is so much more than our minds can even conceive. Lord, teach me that I may teach others how to really walk out our lives through you. It is the God in me that speaks on thins that perpetuate my soul daily. Lord, the God in me searches for truth and tranquility. Lord thank you for the God in me!!!!!

Relish Life. Relish Life. Its satisfaction lies within itself. so many times we look for outside sources to fulfill the inner cravings for satisfaction. Satisfaction with self is the highest form of comfort. "Intimacy with me". This self-proclaimed attitude experienced by devout standards of one self and habitual connection with God creates a balance in ones soul. The soul the soul..the seat of the emotions. Emotions that have been sprayed with others remarks and inner turmoil scream for a purifying agent.
Relish Life Relish Life. Let it creep into your desires, your future endeavors. Life. Life is full of opportunities to reflect on what is already not what was or what will be. Life itself creates no anxiety or fears, but hope in the provision for today Life is so sure. Life is so free.

Everyone says you got to believe in order to receive. You got to believe. As I sit and examine that statement, I realize that everything is not just in the making simply because I believe. There must be more to this story. There must be something that I am missing because I do believe and I still have not received. Where is the thing?.. I have been waiting on.. oh so long...it has not appeared. I am questioning in my own dialogue with the only One who has the POWER to make it happen. I have tried every avenue I can to make it happen without avail. Is it that I lack the intelligence to construct my plan or my hands don't possess the skills to create the scheme? Oh God help me to understand. I sit in arrested development awaiting even the appearance of the thing to come to pass. Lord help me to see what you see. Help me to know what you want me to know. Am I just simply a wimp without wind or doctrine or am I a queen waiting for the King to establish my throne. Lord give me the POWER to believe in the impossible and the courage to know that you are the only One who can help me to create my destiny in the way that you have planned. Wait a minute I get it. You told me you would give me the POWER to believe, but you didn't tell me what for. Maybe I don't know what I should have the POWER to believe for. Maybe I don't control what I believe. Lord give me the POWER to believe what you have given me, not what I want. Then will I have the POWER to believe when I accept your will and not my own.

Jesus where are you when I create disorder through my disobedience to your Spirit and my obedience to my flesh.
Jesus where are you when I pray hear your voice and decide to follow another one.
Jesus where are you when my trials get so heavy that I disclaim what you have said through speaking the opposite.

I am going up after I pray for the wisdom to know how to examine my situation in the context of God's will for the present moment.
I am going up because I have learned that everything in the process is necessary for my growth.

Getting rid of the trash

There is trash in your life. It comes in many forms. It could be your own thoughts about yourself. People you associate with, old habits, errored principles, or simply a lack of understnading of who you are. Trash creates an unhealthy environment. One that causes a stinch, possible disease (unhealthy), and an unclear view of the big picture. We must recognize and identify trash as trash. Our standards dictate what trash is. For some, things we view as trash may not be. Think about what is trash to you. I say you trash your trash so that your vision will become clear. Never allow others to dictate what trash is or isn't to you. Empower yourself with strength today in order to pick it up and throw it in its appropriate place...the grabage and remember garbage should not be picked through again. It is never to be seen again!

Let go and live!

You have endured some great battles; some you did not want to fight, but you had to fight the good fight of faith to be strengthened.
You have been through necessary persecutions; those that removed people out of your life in order to thrust you toward your path of destiny.
You have experienced injustice; God uses injustice to exalt His Glory in an unbelieving land.
You have been ridiculed, shamed, and rejected; they don't believe who you are.
You have given and sacrificed spiritually and naturally to those that have turned on you; God's purpose and plan for your life is great.
You have maintained God's ways in the midst of a compromised people; the Spirit of excellence is upon you.

Now that you have gone through all of that you are on the other side of strength.
You are a prepared vessel...you have gone from pain to purpose. You are polished, you are tried in the fire of affliction.
God says now represent my Glory in the earth. Go tell a dying world that Jesus saves..that He is resurrected God.

He allowed all those people to do those things so that they will see his finished product and know that He is Lord.

But Oh but the Glory...................................
Let go of the memories of the pain and live!

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning

Life has taken some tough turns during this time frame. People continue to depend on others for help. There has been a fallin' away from the grace of God through the sins of His people in their "heart". The "heart" is the innermost seat of our affections. It determines our actions, words, and even our thoughts. God is beckoning His people to return to Him with all their heart, to relinquish all self-agenda and ways. In order to do this; it requires an acknowledgment that we have been walking in self-will....doing what you want to do when you want to do it becasue you have not trusted God to fulfill the promises he has made to you. Some of His followers have turned back to their idol gods...sex, money, and drugs...or it may be that you have stopped praying for others, stop being mindful of your behavior around the unsaved or you may have stopped fellowshipping with those sent in your life who keep you accountable to God's will and purpose for your life. Parents have stopped taking their children to church or studying and teaching biblical priinciples to them. God is warning His people today to return to Him with your heart before a great travail overtakes you. You know... God is jealous God...he requires your time and treasure...yes this includes sharing your increase/abundance with others. Sometimes we compromise in our own minds that we are okay. We have to remember we are a called out people, holy, separated for our Master's use. Common things, people and places is not our inheritance. We are chosen to execute His Glory in the earth. Have you been a light on your job,or are you joining in on the office gossip? Have you decided to lie on your taxes because you "need the money"? Jesus says to repent, turn back to Him. This may mean that you should amend your tax return and do the right thing because if you don't you shall reap the consequences thereof in the near future. This include ministries..who have stretched the truth concerning their charitable contributions, God's people who have added other people's children's on their tax returns as dependents. God says it is time out for wickedness, corruption and deceit. He wants a people who love Him so much that they will sell out from the world's ways and honor Him with all their heart.
Father in the name of Jesus,
You are great in Mercy, slow to anger, and quick to love us.
We denounce our sins today.
We go back and rectify those things that we have done against you, others, and ourselves.
We thank you for giving us a heart to do what's right.
We ask you to forgive us.
Please have mercy on us now.
We thank you for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit which enables us to live accoding to your will. Although we are not eprfect, but we acknowlege our sins and do turn from them

Understanding who you are...

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.

God is calling for His people to seek Him for who they really are. There are many that are stuck between a rock and a hard place concerning their purpose in Christ. Many are struggling with their call simply because they have not sought the Lord for direction. They have planned their own agenda to fit their desires, conveniences, and others false promises and visions that did not come from the Lord, but out of a heart of greed, a need for power and prestige and vain imaginations. In the meantime, there are believers and non-believers who are suffering because people are not walking in their true purpose. Seeking God for guidance requires relinguishing ourselves to His Spirit which may require giving up some preconceived notions about ourselves & people. Satan is a deceiver! Everything may have seemed to line up in the beginning. It seemed like it was God, but did you really wait for the Lord to speak or were you presumptous in your decision? You could have meant well, but remember God is in control of your life and everything around you. I hear the Lord saying to someone today go back and rescind yourself, reset your priorities and allow God to take you to that place of peace, power and prosperity that He has given to you, not by your own merit. There is a scripture in the bible that warns us that the "blessing of the Lord maketh one rich and adds no sorrow."
Everything that God does, man cannot take any credit for it. You and noone will be able to say if it had not been for me... he/she wouldn't be in this place, have this or that etc. Coming to an understanding of who you are is a process...you have to go to your creator to obtain the revelation.

And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

Temptation, Trial, and Turmoil is an evitable experience in life. We all have had our fair share of all three. Many times we fail to accept that...therefore we pray that we never have to deal with these. The truth is we must bear the cross in order to receive the victory over our situations. Often times we gain insight, wisdom, and resources during these times. It is God's sincere goal to get us to a place of peace, power, purpose, prosperity with provision. Timing is important in the plan of God as well as getting us to a place of obedience to His voice. Unbelief in the love that God has for us hinders our growth. We must tap into God's love by having an understanding of the scriptures and having a personal, intimate relationship with God the father, Jesus, the son, and the gift of the Holy Spirit. We must know that the lowest point in our lives is the time that God uses to exalt His power and the praise of His glory. Know this that even though you have reached a plce complacency, complaints, and confusion; you shall rise.

You shall rise to higher standards and convictions. You shall rise to your destiny and purpose no matter what others feel. You shall rise above a broken generation to a whole nation of believers. You shall rise out of poverty, addiction, and low-self esteem. You shall rise out of bondage to people places and things and go on your way to success, peace, aand good fortune. You shall rise after which you go through temptation, trial, and turmoil. Wash your feet (how you live). Come out of the streets ( the world mentality). For God says today....You shall rise.

When God calls...

God's voice is undeniable.
It is a voice of authority, instruction, and correction. It lifts up standards, It creates new beginnings. It solves problems. God's voice. It steps us up to a place of security. It prefers the best for us. It has stipulations; that are righteous, gracious, and true.
When God calls, answer. When He speaks, move. When God calls, don't deter, don't fake it, make it. When God calls, answer. He calls when you least expect it. God calls during the tough times, when there's noone else around to answer. When God calls, you hear Him, you speak back to Him. When God calls step up to the place. He's calling...He's calling...You'll know its Him.

"My sheep know my voice; I know them and they follow me." (John 10:27)
"A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers." (John 10:5)

I am a woman not known by who I really am...
A preacher, a teacher, a daughter of the most High God.
A woman who sees beyond today and whose desire is to learn from yesterday.
A lover of nature, purity and those unspoken qualities of life that makes it worth livng.
Unspoken qualities of words from the Lord, peace, silent kisses and hugs from my Savior.
I am a woman not known by the company that I keep...
ambassadors for Christ..those who wish to live by his statutes, in order that they may grow in stature. People who love beyond measure, who only judge when needed to express the contempt of sin which causes one to die.
I am a woman not known by the character that I possess. Desiring always to tell the truth, to extend my hand to the poor, to see the captive set free.
I am a woman not known by the standards that I have set for all those who have been sent in my life for God to beset. Growth needed in our communities...to captivate our youth...the Glory of God in our families..through the pulling down of strongholds in our minds. God Himself seeks to know you today. The woman not known by who she really is...Life only revealed in HIM. The one and only Savior Jesus Christ..Who is able to do exceedinly,abundantly above all you can ask or think. Come to Him a woman not known by who you really are.

THE BLANKET CALLED PRAYER

I would say that prayer is probably the most significant factor in our relationship with God. It serves as a buffer in our lives. It creates a sense of wellbeing and gives us courage in our daily activities. It provides us with a mean for escape. It is a vehicle by which answers to hard questions and decisions comes. It distracts us from problems and delineates our fears. It takes us to a place of peace and gives us hope even during "hopeless' situations. It satisifies our soul with the fullness of Grace. It attaches Mercy to our iniquities. It sustains us during our trials and it helps us to overcome temptations. PRAYER CHANGES THINGS, PEOPLE, AND SITUATIONS. Prayer provides a medium through which healing can take place. It is only by prayer can one receive comfort....Keep on your blanket called prayer.

CRY OUT, WAIL, WEEP!

We have all been in desperate situations; where we have needed a mighty move of God, a Divine intervention to pull us through. Situations that are like childbirth where we travail in pain and despair. It is during these times that we seek answers through a variety of ways often negative. We drink alcohol, use drugs, become angry and lash out @ others or seek out old friends and/or lovers. Neither of these behaviors bring relief, but only add to our sorrows. True deliverance can only come from God and the person of Jesus (The Word). God has an answer for you today; He says to CRY OUT, WAIL, AND WEEP! It is only by the power of God can you ultimately be free from your pain. The Holy bible declares that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Believe Him today...CRY OUT, WAIL, AND WEEP; Your deliverance has come!!!

Blessed Are Ye...

Alot of times we feel hopeless when we are hurt by others. We feel there is no recourse for what has happened to us..We feel like we can't get back up and try again...We feel like our labours of love were in vain... But even though we feel this way... God's Word declares the opposite.
In the Holy Bible, the book of St. Luke, Chapter 6, starting with verse 20 it states..."And he lifted up his (Jesus) eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets." So we see here that there is a blessing to be received through our suffering, lack, persecution etc. for righteousness sake. We are not to stay down because we have been knocked down...but Jesus actually tells us to rejoice because your reward shall be great. I do not know who God is speaking to today, but your poverty shall be turned into riches, your chaotic situation into peace, your weeping into laughter, your shame into glory, and your hunger shall be filled.

Substance of Faith

Most of us are all so familiar with the following Word from the Holy Bible:
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrew 11:1).
We are familiar, but do we really know this declaration to be true and do we really understand it?
Let's break it down. Substance is defined as something solid, defining, practical in quality and character. Other definitions include: that which has mass and occupies space, or the essential nature or essence.

In other words faith is the defining evidence that those things that we hope for shall come to pass (given that it is in the will and character of God). We must identify the role we play in receiving those things that we hope for. Yes, we have a role to play. Well many may argue that God can do anything and whenever and however He so desires. While He is able, He is not willing to lower himself to the menial being of a magician. God wants to develop in us a sense of responsibility and wellbeing and the inherent character of himself. To deny the process and substance of faith is to deny Himself. Everything that we receive we will obtain it only by faith; Whether it is salvation, deliverance, the immersion in the baptism of the Holy Spirit or simply our dream house. We must know that the fact that we believe, desire, ask, and hope is the evidence that that thing shall come to pass. You see when all these things are stirring up in the pot, it produces actions that equal the results of that thing that we have been hoping for. For example..many may say I want to get my degree in such and such area. There is no need to wonder if God is going to do it for you. No, God is saying will you believe me, believe that I want this to happen for you. Show me your works, I'll make a way. He is telling someone today to pick up the phone make an appointment to see the college/school advisor and God will meet you there. It is time for the people of God to begin to activate their faith in practical ways and stop waiting for something to appear in the sky. As you move in the direction of progression, God has provision already waiting for you by the substance of faith.

Our lives are full of twists and turns that bring us despair. Sometimes we wonder why we were even born. We begin to question our very own existence...
Perceiving the definition of self can be the most difficult thing we encounter. Our self identity.
Created in the likeness and image of God, which is Holy, Majestic, Magnificent, Glorious. This is so hard to see. Dimmed by the opinion of others, hard circumstances, evil looks, hinderances, and heartaches. We stare at the darkness of our souls; never looking up to the light of our Creator.
There is hope for the dawning of day, for our future dreams, those hidden treasures of revelation that it only known by you and God.

Say it Loud !
We are diamonds in a "rough"; in a temporary rough situation. Buried, hidden, under dirt and pressure, in a dark place, forming, transforming into something beautiful.
Say it Loud !
I am beautiful
For I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well (Psalm 139:14)
Say it Loud!
I am loveable and loved by a father who sees me as perfect even though I may be imperfect.
Say it Loud!
I can do and will be everything God has created me to be.
Say it Loud!
I will accept my self as a diamond in a temporary rough situation waiting to be found.

ACCEPTING YOUR SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE

Accepting who you are in God through Christ Jesus is a process; particularly the greatness that lies within you.
Satan mission is to deter you from the call of God...destiny’s destination. In some of us (the elect) lies great visions and dreams. Such things can only come from God, but a lot of times we suppress it in order to avoid offending others with our "great thoughts". We must come to realize that God placed these feelings in us. We are often misunderstood for being arrogant, dreamers, high-minded or even viewed as crazy. No we are not crazy! No we are not puffed up! But we possess the Spirit of God and HIS spirit of Excellence. Often times those around us lack vision therefore cannot relate to our level of thinking. God told us in HIS Word that HIS ways and thinking is not like ours. We may feel alone and destitute @ times because of the giant that lives in us. We want others to share in this, but it is not there's to share. We are the chosen conduits through which God wants to execute HIS great plan here on earth as HE establishes HIS kingdom. We have to come to accept ourseleves and not allow others limitations in thinking to dictate or control or suppress our vision. God gave it to us..we cannot move forward with it unless we accept the gift of greatness in our spirit and the grand call of God on our lives. God's Word encourages us by saying that when the enemy comes in like a flood he would lift up a standard against him. Many people will not embrace you because God is not leading them to do so. God wants us to identify the excellency within ourselves and not desire others to confirm us. I personally have struggled for many years with the greatness that's inside of me . I have struggle with what others will feel or say about me going forth in what God says and if God is even saying it. There is emotional and spiritual turmoil when you know what's inside of you but you have no one to identify with. God will send those like you to support one another. The Sistahs Ministry has helped me to do this. We must embrace the greatness, accept it, it is a gift from God. God is speaking today to someone's heart concerning the greatness within..No longer suppress it...feel free to dream...God is giving you permission to begin to implement the vision He has given you... Step out on faith.

Hidden Faults

Sistahs,
"Who can understand his error? Cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression" (Psalms 19:12-13).

Presumptous sins can be defined as those that are overbold, arrogant, not hidden. Examples of these sins could be adultery or drunkenness. But what about those sins that are hidden in our hearts that can only be discerned by the Holy Spirit. Examples of these sins may be jealousy, envy, greed, unpure motives, bitterness, malice. These sins may be masked by the "churchgoers"; or those that are able to feign the church culture without retaining the inherent character of the church master, who is Jesus Christ. It is error to refrain from presumptous sins and not desire to seek God to know those hidden faults that offend God. It is our Father's desire that we are cleansed completely from our faults. Yes, even those things that lay engrafted in our inner hearts. God wants to speak to you about them. He says that if we confess our faults He is just to forgive them.
Let's go to the throne of grace with this model prayer (Matthew 6:9-13). Repeat this out loud while on bended knees:
Our Father which art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Given us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the
power, and the glory, for ever.

Power To Overcome

Overcoming strongholds appear to be impossible to the natural man, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We all struggle with issues; some are apparent, some only known by you & God.
We must recognize that the enemy is after one thing, the power given to you by God.
Jesus tells us in the book of Acts 1:8 that "But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.......... and we shall be witnesses unto the uttermost part of the earth." We see here that we have strength to overcome every demonic stronghold in our lives through our belief, dependence, & obedience to the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit is tremendous, it will get you through anything and take you anywhere according to the will of God.
It is not His will that we live in fear, torment, defeat, bondage, destitution, or despair. But it is our inheritance to overcome every hinderance & stumbling block in our lives. We must use this power in order that it may become more powerful.........

Ask God today to give you wisdom on how to use this power to overcome that thing that you have been struggling with for a long time. But be sure to wait for His answer to come.

Surviving The Storm

Storms can sometimes be furious, some for a long time, and some cover a wide area. All survivors of storms have this in common; the gift of faith. According to Hebrews 11:1 in the Holy Bible: "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for."

I'll begin by talking about ways we can use our faith in storms. One way is to stand. Some may say what does it mean to stand in my situation? Does this mean that I stand while my husband is beating me or my wife is cheating on me or my boss is cheating me out of my pay? The answer is yes and no! No, you shouldn't stay around while you are being physically or emotionally abused. But what God wants you to do is trust HIM enough to leave and allow HIM to work the situation out; according to HIS will. Your stand is to pray for your physical, spiritual, and emotional healing. Your stand is to protect your children. Your stand is to seek out help from those that will help you. Your stand is to believe God to manifest HIS glory in your storm. Usually in a storm you are the last one standing. Survive the Storm today.........

Surviving Disappointment

We have all been disappointed during our lives. Some situations worse than others. These disappointments may range from the loss of a good job to the betrayal of a spouse. Disappointments are inevitable. It is how we handle those disappointments that matters the most. Do we become angy and lash out against those who have disappointed us or do we use the experience as a catalyst for growth? We must recognize that our dependence should be on God and not people. People are limited in their ability to remain faithful to death. But God is faithful. He does not change. He promised us that during difficult times in our life that He would stick close to us. Remembering this, gives hope and assurance that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Maintaining balanced thoughts

Our thoughts are the precursors to our actions. In order to live effective lives we must appropriate our thoughts in the right direction. The spirit of fear often breeds negative thoughts. Fear has no power within itself, but is ruminating on things that we fear that causes the problems. We must learn to conquer negative thoughts by replacing them with the positive outcome of the the thing we fear. For example, our children being harmed can be a parent worst fear, but we can conquer that by visualizing our children sitting in the classroom safely, playing outside with friends, and riding their bikes in a pact. Positive thoughts create positive energy and vice versa. Spend sometime practicing replacing negative thoughts with positive ones. This is an awesome exercise for the mind in order to condition it to think positive.

Overcoming Depression: confronting your past

In order to move forward in your life you must confront the pain of your past. Well, some may ask how do I do that? You must confess that it happened. The "it" of your past may be that you were molested by a family member, that your father chose not to be a part of your life, or people treated you different becuase of the way you look. All these things carry the burden of rejection. Rejection is a spirit that many possess as a result of not being accepted by others in a positive way. What we must realize is that the rejection that we perceive is not a validation of our being worthless or unloveable, but a manifesation of the perpetuator(s) pain. Confession brings a sense of owning the feeling which brings it to the surface in order for it to be dealt with. Spend some time confessing your feelings today. There may be some pain or uncomfortableness associated with the confession, but it is a mandatory step in the healing process from Depression.
