Hidden Faults

Sistahs,
"Who can understand his error? Cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression" (Psalms 19:12-13).

Presumptuous sins can be defined as those that are overbold, arrogant, not hidden. Examples of these sins could be adultery or drunkenness. But what about those sins that are hidden in our hearts that can only be discerned by the Holy Spirit. Examples of these sins may be jealousy, envy, greed, impure motives, bitterness, malice. These sins may be masked by the "churchgoers"; or those that are able to feign the church culture without retaining the inherent character of the church master, who is Jesus Christ. It is error to refrain from presumptuous sins and not desire to seek God to know those hidden faults that offend God. It is our Father's desire that we are cleansed completely from our faults. Yes, even those things that lay en-grafted in our inner hearts. God wants to speak to you about them. He says that if we confess our faults He is just to forgive them.
Let's go to the throne of grace with this model prayer (Matthew 6:9-13). Repeat this out loud while on bended knees:
Our Father which art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Given us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the
power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen.
Live in freedom, Sistahs
Love, Sistah Chontay
